employmentUNPAID WORK EXPERIENCE PLACEMENT – TRAINEE RURAL PRACTICE SURVEYOR - SPRING 2011
We are able to offer unpaid work experience placements for university agricultural college students/graduates who hope to ultimately qualify as rural practice surveyors. You will gain experience of a wide range of professional and agency work to include: agency work covering entitlements, land & farms, residential lettings, and country house and development land sales; farm and business consultancy; rural valuations; Single Payment Scheme and agri-environment schemes advice; assisting with arbitration and expert witness work; easements and compulsory purchase; FBT and grazing licence lettings; landlord and tenant matters; property & estate management and rent reviews; rural Town & Country planning and diversification. You will be working closely with the senior partner and his assistants, and this post would be ideal for students of estate management who wish to gain experience of working in a small yet busy rural practice. Good communication skills, high professional standards, attention to detail and a keenness to take on whatever role is needed would be required.
